First United Methodist Church of Macclenny

93 North Fifth Street Macclenny, Florida 32063 Church Office (904) 259-3551

Welcome!

Welcome to our church home on the web.  Whether you are new to the area, new in exploring the Christian faith, or a long-time Christian looking for a new church, you will find that you're welcome here.

We're a big enough church to have plenty of activities for everyone, yet small enough that we still have the personal touch.

We invite you to drop by and see us at 11:00 A.M. Sunday Mornings at First United Methodist Church of Macclenny.

Pastor's Pen

General Conference met this year in Tampa. It is the first time that General Conference has been held in the Sunshine State. I am pleased to report that the body of delegates voted to retain the current stance on human sexuality. "The United Methodist Church does not condone the practice of homosexuality and consider this practice incompatible with Christian teaching. We affirm that God's grace is available to all."(Discipline, Para. 162). After forty years, hopefully, this divisive issue is settled. Time to get about the true mission of the church, to make disciples.

Blessings,

Pastor Tom

Bible Study

The church has several educational opportunities available on Sunday mornings, and there are others that meet in members homes on other days of the week.
